Vintage, mid century, white porcelain heart-shaped Trinket, Vanity or Jewelry Box with all white porcelain flower bouquet on the lid and ormulu mounts and hinge around the base and lid. This mixed floral (rose, pansy, daisy and more) encrusted box is a Lenwile product, a brand known for its well made Japan export style decorative pieces. The brand was established after WWII the Ardalt Company of New York, which imported giftware items made in Japan and other countries around the world for distribution in the US after WWII. This cute box measures 4" wide and deep and is 3 3/4" high when closed. In very good condition, with no breaks or cracks, patina commensurate with age - see photos for details. A nice decorative box for storing or presenting items or makes a lovely box for gifting a treasured item for a birthday or wedding.
