Vintage Polish pottery bell Ornament with traditional folkloric painted blue snowflake pattern on white ground. This bell was produced by Manufaktura, also known as Ceramika Kolor, which is one of several pottery making organizations in the city of Boleslawiec, in southeastern Poland where ceramics have been made for hundreds of years. This simple, hand stamped, discontinued pattern from the 1990s appears here in the classic cobalt blue color for which Polish ceramics are known. The company's and city's stamps are located on the inside of the bell. Trimmed with the original, matching cobalt ribbon for hanging. This bell measures 2 3/4" high and 2 5/8" across the bottom. In excellent condition with no visible signs of wear - no chips, cracks or breaks, and a ribbon without wrinkles or tears. A lovely, classic country-look ornament with a soft sound that is perfect as a Christmas Tree ornament or to adorn a doorway to announce entrances or in the kitchen to call for mealtime. Makes a great gift!
