Pair of vintage 1950s, Asian-flavor table Lamps made from large archaic-style cast brass Urns mounted on hand carved Chinese dark wood bases and vase caps. These mid century, James Mont style lamps come with all original, clean and working (tested), brass and brass plated hardware and wiring, including a 3-way socket, and a pair of NEW brown linen, cut rectangle bell lamp shades. The brass urns on these lamps are a mix of glossy and highly textured, almost rough areas, all a part of the overall style and artistic design of each piece. Large rings, hanging on integrated brackets, are embossed with a greek key pattern and hang loose. These substantial lamps measure 26 1/2" high overall, 7" wide, including the handles, 6 1/2" deep and weigh 14 lbs EACH. The shades measure 15" wide by 11" deep at the bottom and are 12" high. In very good condition with patina commensurate with age and materials - see photos for details. Lamps have been fully cleaned and tested, ready to use. Wiring all in very good condition and working. Shades are new. Does not include 3-way bulbs. A pair of handsome lamps that make a definite statement in a room and with the option for 3 levels of light, work well for layering light in a space.
