Vintage 1970s, Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Cabochon Pendant on Italian sterling silver box Chain. The irregular trapezoidal shaped pendant has a mottled turquoise cabochon in sterling bezel setting with twisted rope and hammered marked details. It measures 2 3/4" tall, 7/8" wide and 1/4" deep. Marked "E. Spencer Sterling" on the back. (The Spencer family has produced high quality Navajo jewelry for several generations from studios in Gallup, New Mexico and each artist signs his or her pieces individually.) The 2mm sterling box chain is 20" long. It is marked "925 Italy". This necklace is in very good condition with little sign of wear - see photos for details. A lovely necklace with classic Native American beauty.
