Vintage, mid century modern, wood Coaster set of 6 in Storage Box with removable Lid that is a Bottle Coaster Lid. The set is teak or walnut wood turned and carved and finished with a clear lacquer. The holder or box measures 5" in diameter and is 2" high with the lid on. Each of the coasters that stack into the box measure 3 3/8" in diameter and 1/4" high. This drink serving set is likely 1960s - 1970s Scandinavian / Danish, although it is not marked as such (only marked on bottom with "Patent 1028? ")). It is in very good condition with only slight scratching found on the bottom of the holder. A handsome set for a bar or coffee table.
