Vintage 1950s, Lady Elgin 14K gold Wrist Watch with Speidel stretch band. Purchased as a wedding gift, it is engraved "Ruth Elvis 8-10-51" on the back along with "14k Gold L&K". This art deco style watch has gold hands, numbers and an ivory colored face with the Lady Elgin name. The case has integrated loops for holding the band. The watch measures 1 1/4" long, 5/8" wide and 5/8" deep with a 1/2" square face. The Speidel gold plated stainless steel stretch band is 1/4" wide and 5 1/2" long when not stretched. This watch is in good vintage condition, with some slight tarnish around the numbers and indicators on the face and minor scratching on the case - see photos for details. A lovely watch!
