Vintage 1950s-60s Taxco Mexico sterling silver, bypass Ring with a modernist abstract design and center, bezel set amethyst cabochon. This adjustable ring measures approximately 1" in diameter out of the package but can open to fit most fingers. The center amethyst measures 6mm in diameter and the band is 2mm wide at the side and back. Marked inside with "JH Sterling 925 Mexico" with an eagle mark with a "3" indicating it is from Taxco (reviewed with a lupe). In very good condition with wear commensurate with use and age. A hand made ring with a timeless, simple design to wear on its own or add to an interesting stack. Perfect for switching out and wearing on different fingers!
