Vintage, 1980s Italian, hand blown, pink, cased Art Glass Compote or Centerpiece. This lovely footed bowl in the Empoli Murano style measures 10 1/4" in diameter and stand 5 1/4" high. The center of the bowl, lined with white cased glass, measures 7" across and is about 1 1/2" deep. This bowl rests on a thick, wave-like, clear pink glass swirl stem attached to a matching clear pink round flat foot. In excellent condition with little sign of wear, no chips, cracks or apparent scratches. A stunning piece for a table setting or enjoy on a sideboard or coffee table vignette.
