Vintage, Florentine, rococo style, hand carved, gilt wood Wall Shelf or Bracket with acanthus leaf design. Sourced from a European flea market. This little shelf measures 6 3/4" high, 5 5/8" wide and 3 5/8" deep (from the front of the shelf rim to the back). Two small hanging hooks are attached to the back of the shelf section for hanging. Original paper tag and product number also on back. The gold leaf is in very good condition with wear and patina from age over most of the surfaces, except for a circular mark, probably left by a vase that was placed on the shelf. No breaks or chips - see photos for details on condition. A lovely little piece for a gallery wall or to elegantly display a favorite item on a wall.
