Vintage 1950s, Italian white ceramic basketweave Vase or utensil Holder in the style of the renowned northern Italian majolica producer Bassano with its very fine chording and top braided trim. This capodimonte lattice pattern container measures 3 3/4" high and 3 1/4" in diameter on the outside and 3 3/8" high and 2 3/8" in diameter on the inside. Stamped 'Made in Italy' on the bottom. In very good condition with only sight wear apparent, no cracks or breaks. A lovely small container for holding dried flowers on a small table, pencils on a desk, bread sticks on a charcuterie plate, espresso spoons by the coffee machine and more!
