Vintage, Venetian Art Glass egg-shaped Paperweight or decorative Figurine in the millefiore-style with multi-colored glass cane infusions made famous by Murano makers. This egg measures 3" tall and 1 7/8" in diameter at its widest point and weighs 9.8 oz - can be cradled in the hand to enjoy its vibrant colors and smooth exterior. Setting the piece with light from behind, color shines through some of the clear canes to the other side. Although this piece is unmarked, this stunning piece was originally purchased in Venice, brought home to the US as a souvenir and stored in a glass vitrine as I discovered from the original owner.
