Set of 6, vintage Art Deco style Heisey New Era style Cocktail Glasses with Frosted Greek Key design. These striking glasses were made between 1935-1938 and were a combination of 2 patterns - the Greek key - issued with a frosted pattern here - and New Era that had the unique rectangular foot. Each of these glasses measure 4 1/2" high, 2 1/2" in diameter across the top rim and have a base that is 2 3/*" by 1 3/4". Heisey Glass of Newark, Ohio (1896-1957) was known for the firepolishing of its clear and colored glassware which made it appear to be crystal both in look and ring. Heisey, which also made auto headlights and light fixtures went out of business in 1984 under the ownership of Imperioal Glass Co. , however its archives and molds are housed in the Heisey Mansion, a Greek Revival style home built in 1831 which is now the Heisey Museum. The set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. A unique and sparkling set in a handsome Art Deco style with a Greek Revival touch. Great for a gentleman's bar!
