Vintage, mid century modern, large grasscloth covered, lidded ice bucket with faux bamboo movable handle, lid finial and ice tongs. This Palm Beach style ice bucket has a white plastic, double walled interior with an exterior bottom panel of black plastic. The ice bucket measures 11 1/2" high (with the lid on) and is 7 3/4" in diameter on the outside. The whole thing measures 16" high when the handle is upright. The interior measures 9 3/8" high and 6 3/4" in diameter. The tongs measure 9" long and 2 1/2" wide. There are no manufacturer's markings. Overall the bucket and tongs are in very good condition. There is one small irregularity in the plastic on the top edge of the interior which may have been a repair at some point but it is not loose - see detailed photo. A handsome ice bucket for every day serving or for a cocktail party with a natural, coastal, tropical feel.
