Antique French Art Deco Photo Picture Frame with guilloche enamel, easel back, and glass. This handsome frame has purple and black smooth enamel banding bordering an opalescent, moire - like, lavender-tinged, wavy guilloche enamel stripe. The frame itself is made of mixed "white metal" of the era, which was a blend of base metals and silver. A full metal top-loading back has an integrated hinged easel stand. The outside of the frame measures 3 3/8" high, 2 1/2" wide and 1/4" deep (when easel back closed or 1" deep with the back unfolded. The frame fits a 2 5/8" by 1 7/8" photo (opening is 2 3/8" high and 1 9/16" wide). In good condition with patina commensurate with age and use - see photos for details. An attractive frame in unusual colors and fine craftsmanship, nice for a collection or to enhance a vignette.
