Small antique, 19th Century, English baroque design repousse brass Picture or Photo frame with glass. This cute frame is made entirely out of brass, with the picture area inset in the center. An intergrated brass hanging loop is attached to the back. embossed stamp "Made in England" on the back. This frame measures 5 1/2" square and 3/8" deep overall. The inset for the picture measures 3 1/6" by 3 1/8", making it appropriate for a 3" x 3" photo. In very good condition, with wear and patina commensurate with age - see photos for details. A nice frame for a picture wall, to highlight a small painting or use as a charming way to mount a sign/instructions on a wall.
