Antique, Art Deco wall mount Match Holder made of cut and brown/white, polished alabaster. This unusual holder is made of 2 solid pieces of stone, cut, carved and polished in a simple and streamlined art deco style. It measures 2 9/16" wide, 4 1/4" high and 2 1/2" deep. Hole in center top of back mounting panel for hanging. Unpolished interior of "cup" section. "Cup" attached to back with small piece of dark metal as seen in photo of interior. In very good condition with some very small dings on the straight edges of the backer section. An unusual piece that can be used for storing matches, as a candle holder, a vase or to hold toothpicks or other small items.
