Set of 6, vintage "tortoise shell" or "burnt" bamboo slat Placemats. These 19" wide and 13" high wood mats consist of 1/8" thick vertical bamboo slats, alternating with thin 1/8" round bamboo rods or sticks, held together by dark brown chord woven in 6 evenly placed parallel rows across the front and, alternately, back of the mats. In very good condition, ready to use. A great set for a Tiki / Tropical style cocktail hour or Chinoiserie-style table setting.
